What Is .NET?

.NET is the Microsoft Web services strategy to connect information, people, systems, and devices through software. Integrated across the Microsoft platform, .NET technology provides the ability to quickly build, deploy, manage, and use connected, security-enhanced solutions with Web services. The .NET Framework is required to use MPulse vSix. To install the .NET Framework you must have administrative rights to the local computer.

1. Return to the main Client Download page.
2. Click the Download link under the Microsoft .NET Framework
3. Be sure to choose 'Open' or 'Run' from the resulting dialog.
4. Follow all on-screen instructions.

To install the MPulse vSix Client, you must have administrative rights to the local computer, and you must have the .NET Framework installed (see Step One).

1. Return to the main Client Download page.
2. Click the Download link under the MPulse vSix Client
3. Be sure to choose 'Open' or 'Run' from the resulting dialog.
4. Follow all on-screen instructions.
5. Set your MPulse Web Service URL to the hosting server. If MPulse Maintenance Software is hosting your application, the URL will be:
   http://www.e-mpulse.com/mpulse/mpulse.asmx
6. Finish the installation.

After installation completes, the MPulse Client will be started. Login into your client database as specified by your administrator. You will need an account name, password, and database name to login.

The MPulse MobileWorks client is an add-on handheld client for Windows© Pocket PC™. You only will receive this option if your organization is licensed to use this software. To use it:

1. Insure your Pocket PC is in its cradle, and that Microsoft ActiveSync™ is running
2. Return to the main Client Download page.
3. Click the Download link under the MPulse MobileWorks Client
4. Be sure to choose 'Open' or 'Run' from the resulting dialog.
5. Follow all on-screen instructions.
6. Start MobileWorks on your handheld, and you will be prompted to enter your MPulse Web Service URL. This URL can be found on the main Client Download page.

After installation completes, the MPulse Client will be started. Login into your client database as specified by your administrator. You will need an account name, password, and database name to login.
